Jason Wilcox leaves Southampton to join Man United

Fabrizio Romano reports that Southampton have no choice but to leave Jason Wilcox who is keen to join Manchester United as the club new technical director.

The Saints are reportedly angry at Man United approach for Wilcox and have refused to reach an agreement.

As negotiations between the two clubs stalled Wilcox turned down his resignation as he wanted to join a new project at Man United.

He is best known for his work as president of Man City Football School as well as his executive role at Southampton.

Wilcox is understood to be a key figure in Jim Ratcliffe upcoming plans.
